THE MEANDERWALKER

I am Lauren Frohne. I’m 24 years old, and I live in Durham, North Carolina.

I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Journalism and Mass Communication (focusing on Multimedia) as a Park Fellow. Before this, I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in the Spring of 2006 with a degree in English and spent two years working in “Public Relations” as a writer.

I like reading and writing about new media and the internet, writing stories and articles, taking photos, knitting, baking and wearing cardigans. I like music and I read books.

I’ve studied and performed improv comedy, produced comedy festivals and a theater, and I’ve performed in events in Chapel Hill-Carrboro, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, New York, and Toronto. However, I am on hiatus, indefinitely.

I obsess about stuff and I write things. I love the internet. And I blog about those things.
